Should the commision even allow Canelo vs Floyd?

The commission should not allow Canelo vs Mayweather because where was Canelo when Floyd was dominating at 21.

 

No, Floyd bulked up naturally with age as his bones and muscles matured. He maxed out as small, natural WW. He's not going to weight 164 on fight night like the Bertos Ortiz's and Mosleys.

Because that's the weight he started at. PBF isn't big guy. Guys at 140 weigh more than him on fight night than when PBF fights at 154. That right there should tell you everything you need to know. Hell Guerrero will outweigh PBF in the ring on fight night and people have the nerve to say he's fighting the smaller man. The very fact that he's been able to beat guys much naturally bigger than himself is a testament to his skills. He's not knokcing people out he's outboxing them.

Just shut the **** up, pretending to be a true fan of the sport, mother ****ing real fans true fans want to see the best fight the best we dont make excuses to duck and dodge fights regardless of age or size.

Floyd fans seem to be the only group of fans that tend to make excuses for their favorite fighter not to take on certain fights, Boxing isnt about that son its about the best fighting the best.

Now I understand and am well aware that you like many others enjoy swinging off of Floyds balls the way you do, I expect better from fighters I expect more from them.

JMM was a LW 3 fights again and he just knocked Pac out cold.

Also, The Ghost is campaigning at WW, Floyd has fought at JMW 2 times in 6 years and is NOT campaigning at that weight. Canelo has been camping out at 154 trying to feast on smaller fighters. Why is Canelo not moving up to MW to take on bigger fighters?

With that being said...a weight advantage is the only advantage Canelo will have in the ring vs Floyd. Floyd would totally outclass this kid but a 20lb weight advantage is absurd.

 

Floyd has fought and beaten some of the best fighters of his generation so we've already seen the "best fight the best" What real fans don't wanna see is farce fights where there is a ridiculous size disparity.

People who want to see Floyd fight Canelo have a hidden agenda. They hope that at 36, he loses to a guy 22lbs heavier so that they can discredit his whole career and say

"see, I told you, he finally fought a real challenge and lost he was never any good in the 1st place"

Everybody was bitching about Broner-Escobedo being unfair, when Broner only had 5 damn pound over the man, but when it comes to Floyd it's fair for him to be outweighed by 22lbs? Makes a lot of sense.

 

Yes the commission should allow it. They need to so the young lad can get his degree in boxing 101 from the Master :deal
