Floyd could easily could easily cut the weight difference if he wanted to
but that would mean having to face a challenge. You and I both know he's
    aint' about that.
Much better for him to let his opponents make the sacrifices.:hi:

I said for the rest of his career, not his whole career. Corrales and Castillo are still solid wins.

Ward/Martinez should happen but Martinez never got a title at 168 as well as Canelo not getting a title at 160. Floyd unlike Martinez or Canelo has moved up their current fighting weight and won a title. Stop making excuses for your hero if he faces Alvarez this yr as long as no injury between him or Alvarez happens he'll get praise from me. Book it. And its this "getting accustomed to Mayweather fighting C-D level fighters" that's really hurting the sport.

If he's so great he'll take those risks and Guerrero sucks. Ortiz sucked. Mosley win was decent though he fought him old & inactive. Cotto fight solid despite Cotto being past it and good win. Canelo would be a great win especially since he's not a declining fighter like Oscar and Cotto were at 154.

Golovkin is going to smash that dope head's face in after Macklin. Nelo is about the same size.

Margo outweighed Pac by 17lbs on fight night (Pac 148, Margo 165). Reyhradting to MW doesnt make you a "middleweight." Most 154 fighters cut weight, as do most fighters in boxing.

Lol at these excuses. Now the weight is an issue ; Floyd can fight an over the hill / beat up Cotto at 154, and an over the hill Oscar , but not Canelo. It's also ok for him to drag up a lightweight two divisions and cheat him on the scales.

It's called risk- taking, I know Floyd fans don't have this word in there vocabulary.

Look at this ****** ass clowns complaining cause Floyd might fight someone who is actually a threat to his "0", now they bitchin about size where were these ***gits when Floyd fought Baldomir who outweighed him by 17 pounds? or when he fought DLH? or Miguel Cotto? and these same ***gots were calling Pacquiao a cherrypicker when he fought Margarito who outweighed him by close to 20 pounds, and they say *******s were bad they got nothing on these fake ass fans who are happy to see a mismatch as long as the man they are obsessed with is sure to keep his "0" instead of wanting and demanding to see good ol competitive fights, worst set of fans in boxing bar none cant wait for the day Floyd retires so we can get rid of these mother****as. If Floyd doesnt fight Alvarez he just shows that all the stuff critics have said about him are true that he handpicks who he fights and that he ducks and dodges the harder fights just to protect his undefeated record , if he fights Alvarez then nobody should ever doubt the man's guts and courage or talk about him being a coward and ****. The ball is in his court he either steps up to the plate and show that hes not the coward that many think he is or he can **** off stop wasting everyones time and just retire from boxing as a "rich coward", its his call.

Didn't say he did just saying JMM was a fighter that moved up and there was no huge outrage trying to ban the fight. What really mattered in that fight was skill and if Floyd is as good as advertised he should be able to prevail as usual as the smaller guy even in Canelo might weigh a lil more than Floyd's average opponent.

Not just steve but smaller heavyweights as well, and yes there is no limit, but that doesnt change the dynamics here, a 40 pound weight advantage makes a difference as well buddy.... like it or not it does.

However the smaller heavies who have stepped up against Giants and won did so because they believed in themselves and had the balls to take on the challenge.

its pathetic that you have to go out like this and make every excuse for Floyd not to fight this kid, You say he is the greatest that its easy work etc.... we know Floyd loves that money that PPV money Canelos a draw.

everything is there, but maybe a little too much, Maybe its finally hit you that Floyd can be beat and likely would lose if he fought Canelo.
So rather than to admit your boy is a cherry plucking coward you would rather sit here and make excuses about weight......

you guys are pathetic...... I thought Ginger was easy work...? I thought you said let him beat Trout first, well obviously he beat him so convincingly you dont the Mayweather fight how expected

Doesn't one of the Belt orgs have a rule where they can't gain something like 10 lbs on fight night?

IMO, the sport should force these two to fight or both face suspension.

Just like the sport should have forced May-Pac, Donaire-Mares, Juanma-Gamboa, etc. etc..

    Plenty of us do.

And honestly when it happens, it would go to show everything else was just bull****. Cotto, Margarito... Pacquiao. All of it goes down the drain.

Yes of course they should allow it. Floyd has a belt at 154. Were you calling for Martinez/Chavez Jr. to not be allowed to happen? Because that's what your argument boils down to right? weight disparity?

I have a close UD for Floyd. GBP is invested in Floyd too because they want Saul to take his thunder in an eventual showdown. Floyd may not need help from the judges but he has it just in case
