Exactly take someoneike Frazier now who's probably between 5-15 on most lists. In 400 years times there could easily be 20 heavyweights who surpass him but that doesn't mean he isn't gonna be a great fighter in 400 years .

Dehydration and Starvation are both hyperbole. You get the point. Being hungry is worse than drying out any day of the week.

Foreman did it all the time during his prime. No one seems to bring it up in his case with regards to him being weakened or it affecting his stamina.

Billy Petrolle was as good as Walcott (probably better) and he doesn't get any love as a great fighter.

I, as almost everyone does, love Walcott's KO of Charles. A shift and hook/uppercut. Devastating stuff and slicker than a 70's pimp.

However, he tries the same move a few times against Marciano and gets nailed. Well nailed.

My point is his devotion to slick maneuvers and fancy dance steps was often ineffectual at best, and sometimes costly. Some chose to remember only his successes in this department rather than the sum balance. He was a fighter who fought on the highest level but was inconsistent at times.

In the end he is still a very good fighter

I think that's why HW is really an exception to this rule. Look at McG's top 100 for instance. It's not fair for HW's to go up against guys like ****in' Armstrong who could weight jump. Even guys like Spinks and Holyfield get the leg up because they did good stuff at the lower weights...

Against other ATG heavies, though......... he doesn't stack up :bbb
