I was looking up "When we were kings" on IMDB and someone raises the question but he/she does not get a legit answer to: It has been a while since I saw the movie so I hardly remember the scene. Does anyone here know what Ali said?
Think he drops the n bomb on Kenny Norton there too. Whatever he said to Don King was the right thing to say, and Mike Tyson should've said it too.
I do remember King slyly walking up to Ali after he beat Foreman, he then makes this faux pleasant face
Holmes quotes Ali as using absolutely filthy language during their debacle in Larry's autobiography, just as ecto55 mentioned. It's also indicated this was enough out of character for Ali that King could be startled by it. I suspect though that he recognized King as a wannabe slave owner, and slammed the door shut on that notion instantly. Ali went back with Arum to 1966 [while King was in jail for murder]. Herbert Muhammad co-founded Top Rank with Arum, and they incorporated Top Rank in 1973. Ali had no great loyalty to King.
