Trout style would be all wrong for Floyd. Trout`s jabbing in the way he did against
Canelo is what is needed to defeat Floyd. DLH was winning easy against Mayweather
while throwing jabs. Floyd could not respond to it until DLH stopped throwing it.
If Trout throws jabs for 12 rounds against Floyd the way he did against Canelo,
he would defeat Floyd. What is your opinon ?

Do you know the difference from a lazy jab and an educated jab from an atg and naturally left handed fighter?

Trout drops his hands after he throws his jabs and doesn't throw it a lot of times with the intention of landing. All his jab would end up doing is letting him get countered.

Oh please, Canelo was timing the **** out of trout with jabs and right hand leads, Trout gets beaten like a whipping boy by Mayweather.

Floyd would never fight Trout anyway...
So another hypothetical win for Floyd I guess.

:D Nice to see Canelo being used a determining factor in a Mayweather victory..

    Canelo too slick.

Canelo already set the blue print, there is no blue print for CANELO

You can't compare to Trout to De La Hoya. A southpaw jab doesn't align with a fighter angled in the philly shell stance the same way. Floyd would have a hard time countering it with his usual left hook over the top, but it wouldn't back him up the same way that De La Hoya's did. Floyd would probably circle to his right, try his best to parry the straight left, and shoot a straight right anytime Trout went to the body. Difficult fight for Floyd but not unwinnable. He's the quicker sharper fighter.

So Floyd countering over the jab had nothing to do with Oscar not throwing it so freely anymore?

Any welterweights that Floyd loses to? Or are all his opposition he loses to to be 10 years younger and 20lbs heavier

Trout doesn't stick his jab and doesn't throw a powerful straight left, either. He could flail away and win on activity, but his overall repertoire of punches would not trouble Floyd. It would not be a strategic victory.

He just doesn't have the tools.
