Did Canelo run and fight a boring fight?

He came forward at several times.

He landed the harder shots.

He scored a hard knockdown.

So basically you made this thread with the hopes of people saying that Canelo was exciting and then you will respond like "well then do you think Floyd is exciting or boring when he does it?"......from there you would try to convince yourself that you exposed a double standard.....am I right Larry?

No trout was the one backing up .. Canelo was trying to make Trout come to him. He took a different approach against trout , which trout didnt expect.

Also, I always told people canelo is a student of the game, he himself said its his favorite form of fighting the shoulder roll and bob and weaving shots... its what he did as an amateur and he tries and employ it whenever possible.. says he loves studying the greats like JCC Sr which is where he probably got his waist movement from, and Ali.... says he also loves how May fights...

canelo is very intelligent the people that would call him a plodder and say he was once dimensional would **** me off because I knew canelo had more then that...

Yup! I personally don't like the way Canelo fought. IMO he might have stopped Trout if had upped the pressure after the KD. He also gave away
the very important 12th round.

On the other hand he surprised me with some of his "slickness"

BOttom line he convincingly won the fight!

 

Don't remember the round, but at one point he was deliberately clowning.

 

they both acted tentative, both scared of getting hurt, ended up being a ho-hum fight.
