You've never had a world title fight. I have a far superior amateur record. I have a far superior professional record. I am more popular. I am (no homo) better looking. I have more money, titles, experience and power." Yeah it'd be a good event, just like Haye/Chisora I'll enjoy it despite it being a mismatch.
I think this is a vital wake-up call for Fury. The need for concentration at all times. He has all the attributes to go to the top and the only times he has ever looked in trouble has been pretty much of his own doing. A major plus for me is how he got up and recovered amazingly quickly after the knock down. Like every other time he has been hurt, he seems to stay calm and always ends the round on top again. I was encouraged really, although smaller - Cunningham has operated at the top level and it showed at times. But Fury showed more than one string to his bow. We know that if things aren't going his way, he won't go through the motions and coast to a lop-sided defeat. He will try everything and go dow fighting.

Yeah complaining about a toe injury is much worse than Luis Resto ruining Billy Collins' life with loaded gloves, James Butler sucker-punch KOing Richard Grant after a fight and Tyson biting off a chunk of Holyfield's ear.
The division is **** poor, and most people will just assume only 3 are capable of finishing Fury. The usual suspects, Wlad, Vitali, Haye. I actually think there is more than you think, regardless of the division. No one thought Tony Thompson would do that to David Price. There are plenty of "****" heavyweights around who still have a punch that can knock Fury out. All they have to do is land it, which doesn't appear that hard to do against Fury. The moment Fury takes that step up and fights a true heavyweight, if he fights like he did on Saturday, he will be finished. You can't keep fighting like that, it gets you eventually.
Erm yes they did atsch Price is renowned for having a china chin. He's not like Fury who fights sloppy and makes it easy for opponents to drop him, Price has literally got no punch resistance. Anybody has the ability to knock Price out.
In heavyweight boxing anyone can KO anyone if the right punch lands, what people are saying Craney is that in the majority of cases Fury would beat the other contenders most of the time with the exception of Haye, Wlad, Vitali and Pulev. Not that is is impossible for anyone else to have any chance of knocking him out, just that he'd be favourite against the others. As for Price, that's actually incorrect, a lot of people including myself called before the Thompson fight that Price had issues with his chin and durability. He had previous in the amateurs for being stopped with head gear on and the fact he was so protected prior to the Thompson fight made me further question how he'd stand up to an opponent that hit back. Wasn't an enormous to shock to that many people when he got sparked.
Maybe I should have said a minority? Because 99% of people on here thought Price would walk straight through the out of shape pork chop. I still say to Fury, laugh at that at your mercy. Price can still recover, and Price still has the punch to take Fury's head of. Price was unlucky, it was a dragon slap "punch" on his ear that destroyed his balance. This happens in boxing, I dare say Fury would have trouble if he got hit with that sort of "punch" Fury has proved he has a decent chin, and decent recovery, but he has only ever took one on the top of the head, and on the chin. We'll see how he reacts when he gets hit by a true world-level Heavyweight (like Tony Thompson was/is)
One thing I will say is that if that newspaper report someone posted about Peter Fury is accurate and he was jailed for importing drugs and money laundering, he will probably NEVER be allowed in to America. They're incredibly strict on border patrols and I have a friend who was charged for something that by comparison was incredibly minor and didn't result in any time served, he's not allowed into the USA at all, missed his sisters wedding as a result and can't even catch a connecting flight through a US airport. Not sure how they'll get around that one tbh....
Peter Fury is very good for Tyson, he made him a much better fighter. Just a shame he wasn't there last night, Tyson would've performed a lot better if he was IMO.
