I'd say they got him cheap, can't say I'm surprised, I had low expectations for Groves opponent and the under card. All the money is going to Froch-Kessler. **** PPV, no chance of my buying this one. Fast Eddie can do one.

If I am going to be able to sit down and watch 3-4 hours of quality boxing I am happy to pay £15 for it. 45minutes I will just stream it. I wouldn't fund bull**** like this.

No but outside the tiny hardcore who on here and other forums do you think the promotors will care. Sky might not like it to be honest. They fed up with bull**** boxing brings. Matchroom fail boxing will be over. I say its 50% likely sky will drop it.

am i the only person who thinks this isnt too bad for a 19th fight on the undercard (especially as it will happen during the champions league final). hes had 7 fights in three years, and doesnt seem to have had the rounds or the experience with different styles to be challenging at the top of the division.

to be honest, it think a title fight in around 18months at 24/25 fights with a gradual but definite increase in competition would be best for him. the undercard for this is going to be ****. lets face it, its a sold out at the event and no one is even going to watch the undercard with the champions league on.

that said of course i would prefer a proper card as i hate football these days.

no great suprise really is it, what 4 weeks till fight, not going to be anyone who will threaten groves, now the september date i fully expect him in with someone decent

granted on a ppv card it should be better but timescale was always indicating it wouldnt be, as eddie says only way to make kessler froch was ppv which is bull**** imo

im not sure anderson is that much better an opponent, but the fight certainly has much more background to make it interesting.

So how is this going to be appealing to the casual fan?

Would been better with good british title fights on the bill. Where Adam Smith with the quality control when sky get rid of boxing what job he going to do.

Your seriously bringing Eddie & Frank into this? Adam Booth picks the fights, always has and always will.

Pay for **** and be grateful otherwise Sky will pull out of boxing, that's basically your argument. What a load of old bollocks.

They did not learn from Haye-Harrison PPV, i.e. no under card for that, just never ending analysis and those big ****in tactics TV screens. This PPV is going to bomb anyway, no one outside of the hardcore know who Froch is and they are not even trying to keep the hardcore happy.
