How does everyone rate Fury's mentality, is Fury one of the toughest, if not the toughest guy mentally in the Heavyweight division??

 

There is no doubt about that! His chin is not any near the granit chin of Vitali.

 

its his defence that let him down not his chin

that was a big overhand right and fury had both his hands down lol

 

He's one of the weakest in the regard. It will be the end of him if he can't get a handle on it, FACT.

 

He got caught by a wild windmill punch. Would have put most people on their ass imo.

His chin is nowhere near as bad as people are making out. I'm more concerned about his defence.

 

fury mindset is all over the place one second he boxes in a controlled manner looking fast and snappy k. jonson the next brawling wildly with cunnigham.

got a feeling he boxes to the level of his opponent....telling you all now wlad dosent knock out fury can only he beat him on points..

 

Yeah his chin is not on the Price level... but one clearly could doubt that he could take a good punch from a good puncher. He wont get up if a good heavyweight puncher hits him.
Are you not wondering why Fury has not faced one single heavyweight with a good punch? I tell you why because he might wont stand up after he gets hit from a big and powerful heavyweight.

there arent huge beats power fighters at the moment bar a few like haye and wlad but wlad takes years to load up and haye dosent throw lots as he has a far more dogy chin-

 

Actually this really makes me wanna see some CWs at HW. If Cunningham who is a great boxer but not physically strong could do that to Fury there could be some interesting fights at HW for guys like Huck

Your scenario is flawed. If anyone gets 'hit' (by hit I presume you mean sweet, right on the button) by a 'puncher' they're in trouble, not just Tyson

 

**** defence. Not the best chin in the world but it's definitely not glass. He does recover well though.

 

I dont talk about the best punchers just about big and powerful heavyweights. You cant read man.
Also there are fighters who can take punches from very strong heavyweight punchers. You know **** man.
Tyson was hurt and Knocked Down against featherfisted opponents! Now imagin what a big and powerful heavyweight does to him. It dont has to be the biggest puncher and good heavyweight puncher would be enough. Just a good and powerful heavyweight! Till now Fury has faced not one single big and powerful heavyweight! Why? Because it would be VERY risky!
There are fighters who can take a huge shot well and there are who cant. fury looks like a fighter who cant take a good shot well.

 

I mean Cunningham hurt and dropped Fury! The last time Cunningham dropped and hurt somebody is years ago. And I cant remember when he dropped a guy like this with a single shot. He was also in trouble against Firtha! And dropped against Pajkic! Also he had two very hard fights with a guy like McDermot.... Fury is good but nothing great.
Now just imagin what happens when he faces a powerful heavyweight.... As I said Fury is matched very carefully.
