So the majority of press an fans had the fight for Trout?

Trout was down 6 rounds to 2 going into the 9th. He was simply out classed the entire fight. Any punches that were counted as landed were glancing blows, or just outright missed or were blocked. I have never seen a fighter get so much charity, it's unreal here.

 

I thought Canelo definitely won. He looked way more impressive. He controlled the action, showed some good defense, and most importantly, had the clear edge in clean, effective punching. Trout fought hard, but he clearly lost in my opinion.

 

You better find a better source than that bull****, and seriously its hard to take "Fans" serious Canelo is hated especially since he put Floyd on blast and demanded a fight, Floyds fans pissed cus Floyd isnt making money off Canelos name.....:hi:

If it was up to me I would've given the win to Trout by a razor thin decision. I didn't like how Canelo was trying to cruise in the 12th rd. However Canelo did enough to convince me he is a major player in the division. Of course I don't think he'll put Golovkin or Sergio in a coma like a few Canelo fans claim. Nonetheless Saul is a dangerous opponent for anyone at 154. His fortitude reminds me of Donaire. They don't fight alike but Canelo will go on to dominate a handful of opponents with his good speed and power. Then he'll run into a super slick Cuban at some point and will be made to look like he learned how to box just yesterday.
