Frazier LITERALLY ends him... he would probably retire after the fight..and if he didn't... he would take a year off to recover mentally and physically

He fought 7 months after the Lebedev KO again.

Frazier would probably KO him, but Roy would come back, like always.
He wouldn't a year, 5-7 months or so and he's fighting again.

terrible matchup for Roy. I cannot see Roy lasting more than 2 rounds.

I agree it's a terrible match up, but I think Roy could have hung with lots of heavies for over two rounds. Speed can offset a lot of things. Roy's feet and reflexes were so fast.

Frazier destroys him, i'm doubtful that Roy even has the power to significantly hurt Frazier. That left hook would BODY Jones.

I agree, but Frazier or Tyson would just have to step inside and trap Roy and hit the body and then the head a few times.

Frazier wasn't a stalker, stalkers (Joe Louis/Alexis Arguello) aren't constantly throwing punches.

Show me where I've said that Roy would have beaten Frazier.

I'm questioning your hate for Roy, not your actual question.

You are being ridiculous typing things such as "if he had the balls to even fight at heavyweight"

    What's all that about?

If you'd have started a thread, titled "How would the the Ruiz version of Roy Jones, have fared against a peak Joe Frazier?" Then that would be fine.

But why all the cheap shots?

Ruiz wasn't cherry picked, and how many guys who started out at 154-160 have fought at heavyweight, and dominated a top ten guy?

We know Ruiz wasn't like a 65 version of Ali, but he was solid and effective.

He was a top ten guy, who beat and knocked down Holy, who was obviously passed his best, but who wasn't shot to ****.

Then a natural 168/175 guy completely dominates him for every round, yet doesn't get an ounce of credit? Ha!

At the end of the day, Roy did something that hadn't been done in 106 years, and he did something that most SMW's, LHW's and even CW's wouldn't even contemplate doing.

If I made a thread about Carl Froch, Kessler, or Ward fighting Frazier at heavy, I'd get laughed at, because people wouldn't be able to even envisage those guys fighting at heavy.

What current LHW's do you think will go and have a run at heavy?

How many of today's CW's do you think will decide to step up?

You and Lord Tywin are complete jokers!
