Your chin isnt china if you get up an win the fight. Fury was being an outright clown an got caught cold. When you are being as careless as he was yes you can get hurt by a lighter puncher.

USS is still the only guy to ever stop Huck, a fact the majority are overlooking. He might not be a hard puncher, but he's a very sharp and accurate one. He WILL put you on your ass if you rush towards him square on with your hands down.

An it was early in the rounds when he was cold. He was doing nothing but showboating. He got up an got serious an it didnt happen again.

Fury is a good fighter. But I dont see anything great in him. Great power? He has power but not "great power". Great boxing skills? No. Great Chin? Hell No. The only impressiv thing about him is his size. Thats it. He will continue to win fights just because he is that big.
His biggest win was now a featherfisted Cruiserweight.... Lets see how he does against Pulev.
The sings just dont look good for him. Remember it was not the first time he was hurt or dropped in a fight against "featherfisted" opponents.
Also his two fights against McDermott. Hell he even needed a gift in the first fight against a guy like McDermott.
Yes Fury is 24 and he can still develope but he wont be World Class thats for sure. Fury is now pros for 5 years.
Wladimir was World Champion after 4 years and had already 35 fights. The talent was already there for Wladimir. Speed, BIG POWER, great boxing skills. He has everything except a good chin. Fury on the otherhand? As I said I dont see great talent in him. He is a good boxer and contender....

The way Wlad turned his career around was nothing short of remarkable, don't just assume anyone can do it. Despite his early knockdowns Wlad always looked on his way to greatness.

Fury has shown nothing to suggest he is going to end up anywhere near Klitschko level, it's a stupid comparison. I like the guy and will watch all his fights but he isn't gonna be anything special.

He may, if he's very lucky, briefly win a world title some day when the Klits are gone, but that's it.

    No he didn't.

People keep saying this for some reason, when it's not true.

He was written off as chinny, fragile with no heart.

Look back at articles from those days, he was not "marked for greatness"

As late as the first Sam Peter fight, the majority were writing him off as a chinny glass cannon.

It's only since probably around the time of the Chagaev fight that he's got respect.

Wlad got stopped when he first stepped up. Fury has stepped up and not been stopped.

Skillwise he did, he had question marks over his chin but aside from that he done everything right. Fury has question marks over his chin but would look highly beatable even if he had an iron chin.

Why do who we compare Fury with Wladimir? Fury is not any near the level of him and wont be in the future. Fury is now pro for 5 years and his best win is a featherfisted Cruiserweight.

I'd like to see Fury v Wach and see how Fury performs when he doesn't have a massive size advantage.

Fury's chin is fine. His balance and defensive qualities leave a lot to be desired though.

He's also a very stupid fighter. He doesn't seem to listen to his corner, play to his strengths or do the right things at the right times.

Ultimately it will be his lack of defence and poor decision making in there that will lead to him being beaten when he steps up again.

I'm pretty sure that Cunningham hasn't scored a knockdown since 2007, by the way.

    ---

From the sounds of it, Fury is getting a whole lot of people rushing to his defense here when there is nothing to defend.

Some fans hate certain fighters because they don't feel the hype matches up with the achievements or the prospect of their potential achievements. And that is a fair thing to do.

Fury would get knocked out. One right hand from Wach hitting him can be enough:lol: And Fury cant push around a guy like Wach or make him tired by clinching him to death like he did with Cunningham.
