Don't know how Marquez is turning down $14m to take a MAXIMUM of $3m - it's just nuts, make no mistake. Talk about throwin away your winning lottery ticket
I don't think JMM's hurting for money. I think he's tired of receiving backseat treatment from manny/Arum his entire ****ing career. So now that he's holding the cards he wants a fair shake. Nothing wrong with it whatsoever imo But he'll def. make the most money taxing manny's ass again. I, for one, am tired of watching them fight and want to see them fight other people. JMM v Bradley and Alvarado v manny (should be easy fight for manny if he's not completely ruined)
I guess they are trying to say that after Pac beats Bradley.... and if he does... then Pac has his belt which JMM wants from Bradley? so Arum is trying to force JMM to fight pac in the end again?
I have a new respect for Tim after he was boxing while knocked the F out on his feet. There is no reason for him to say no to this pay day and prove to the world he is a true champ.
Considering he's made his career high purses against Pacquiao. Considering it's the fights with Pacquiao that put Marquez on the map I would say that the above is bulls**t...he lost 2 very close fights, up for debate yes, but still very close, and was fortunate the judge made a technical mistake in the first - bottom line, he's made his millions against Pacquiao and has the chance to make a ridiculous amount No good holding the cards if you walk away from the table. I'd say going up from a career high of $4m to $14m is worth cashing in but what do i know
I wouldn't be at all surprised to see JMM V Mayweather 2, around November time. Mayweather knows he'll win, he makes mega money, it can be marketed as the man who smashed PAC v the best, the p4p number 1 and 2, and JMM at 38/39 makes a huge payday. I don't think you'll see JMM fight PAC again, the last fight had as devastating a conclusion as you'll ever see, and JMM won't tarnish that
This is exactly whats going on. Sure, he has gotten his millions against Pac, but how much more has Pac gotten and how much more will Pac get compared to Juan if they were to fight again? Thats the issue here....Juan has the only decisive win in the series, in form of a devastating KO, and he's gonna get $14 million, while the guy he KO'ed is gonna get something like $25+ million???? **** that, Juan ain't having that ****.
