Adam Norman is usually one of the sane Sky pundits. I've spoken to him about Fury before and he likes him. Don't know why he'd write an article like this without Sky asking him to..

 

Fury did use rough house tactics, no doubt about it and as entertaining as the singing was, it was also brutal. I have no problem with the author putting across those sentiments. But, I think the hater mask slips off when he throws in that Cunningham is "a notoriously light-fisted cruiserweight". Far from it.

You're thinking of a different Cunningham. Fury was fighting the feather-fisted, **** Cunningham. You know, the one that's easy to plod into and knock over.

Whatever you say about Fury, the guy usually has highly entertaining fights and that's to be applauded. Sky are pissed because right now, Channel 5 and Fury are getting more coverage than anything they are involved in.

 

When he inevitably walks away from Hennessy and likely signs for Matchroom Sky will wank themselves to death over him, especially if he was a world belt by then.

 

I can't see anything wrong with what he has written there is criticism and also praise for Luke's performance he summed It well for for me. He's right with one thing that Luke is like a car crash you just can't look away when he is in the ring which makes him compulsive viewing whether you love him or hate him.
