Yeah, he comes across as less sprightly and self-indulgent. A lot of the shine has gone. He doesn't look like a star anymore, when he trains. There is a weariness about him, no?

Well, I'm glad he's less hyper/excitable, if he is as motivated as he says he is. But he definitely looked slower/worse in that sparring round. Yeah, I know, he's got a few weeks left, but still,... there was no spring in his step.:think

Didn"t Lucien take a surgery after Grachev? I read that his eye bothered him against Froch and Grachev.

 

i think it was cosmetic mostly

 

in all the camps ive seen of bute they make poor choices in the sparing partners in my opinion, they should have better sparring partners and never keep the same ones...just my 2cents

 

I wonder what his diet regim is, what does he eat. I think this is the most important part of a preparation. I also see that he looks old and slow, not good at all. He s got only 33, he has no problems with alcohol, smoking, drugs like others, he has a peaceful life. The only possible answer for this in my opinion is his diet. When he comes in Romania he is very eager to eat garbage foods from romanian cousine that are not healthy at all. That **** with sugars, gluten and trans hydrogenated fats are poisons for human body and this must have ruined him down slowly, maybe he is more fragile than others and also his vulnerable psychical played a good part in the ecuation.
