Povetkin's manager won the purse bid with his sponsor's $23,000,000.

The fight will be on August 31 in Moscow or Berlin.

That's awesome. That's by far the largest HW purse bid in what like 15 years? Maybe 20.

Great news for the Heavyweight division.

It's on the rise again! Another exciting fight to look forward to.

That is a huge pot of money. I didn't belive Team Povetkin would win the 3rd bid. Just wow.

This gives the fight a lot of buzz.

Now we will have a lot of back and forth between Klitschko and Povetkin though. I wouldn't even be surprised if this fight fell through.

Didn't Klitschko and Haye split something like $45 million?

Edit: I see you meant purse bid. Guess you're correct, pal.

    Well, it could be...I suppose...

The bid just seems so high, reminds me of what King did with Huck-Ola

Povetkin/Hrunov played their cards right. Absolutely stunned by that sum of money. If the fight happens, definitely in Moscow. **** will be huge, gents.

There's just no way that a 23 million dollar purse bid makes any sense at all. How will they make that Money back without ppv? It isn't even a unification bout as Povetkin isn't a real champion.

    POVETKIN WON THE PURSE BIT

Now we'll see if Wlad will drop his belt.

I bet a lifetime ban with Dinovelvet that Wlad won't drop his belt.
Or are you going to duck me Dino?
