Luis is a fighter i'd like to find out more about, but can't really be arsed.He looks a real underachiever from the Saldivar and Winstone fights.Buckets of talent.

Watch the Luis vs Winstone fight, you get a good impression of what a tough fighter to beat Winstone would be in a measured chessmatch.

 

That's a damned good fight. Great sound as I recall.

 

Luis was clearly very good, and I still don't know why Saldivar was DQ'd.

If you watch the fenech vs villasana fight not only will that reinforce what a tough ******* villasana was but I think they take fenech's gloves off in the ring and you can really get a feel by looking at his expression the terrible pain his was in .


Also if you watch the version with the Aussie commentator's you will either laugh or cringe they were bloody awful , the second time I watched I did so with volume down.

 

Aussie announcers are the only good reason to watch a fight without sound.

 

Salvador Sanchez vs Danny Lopez

Awesome battle between two of my favourite Feathers. Sanchez was ridiculously good in this fight, makes me wonder if he was even human. So damn fluid, so rarely hit clean if at all, always moving, ducking, punching, never changing expressions no matter how hard the flurries he just dismantled Lopez. You bet your ass tho that Lopez gave it his absolute all, went out like a true champion, with a number of edge of your seat exchanges but Sanchez was just on anothe level. Not even Lopez' murderous power could save him.
