I had Dirrel beating Froch and i would pick him to beat Kessler. But hes done. Its over. He doesnt fight.
Dirrell needs to become relevent again by fighting somebody (anybody) before any of his fans? start crying about a topfight...
I'd even say that it would be fair for Stieglitz to claim that Dirrell needs to beat a gatekeeper before earning a shot at his title.
Dirrell did get robbed against Froch. However, he is inactive and his acting job against Abraham was a disgrace.
I think that, that statement is exaggerated at times.. I think I scored the fight 114-113 in favor Dirrell.
Now they both would beat Dirrell pretty clearly and easily, I scored for Dirrell vs Froch but now he has no chance he has to fight some fights first before he can fight top of the division!!!
Yeah, it was close, but it was also clear imo. Dirrell did win that. Have there been many polls on here? I'd like to see what the fan consensus is.
dirrell is the 2nd most skilled guy at 168 and in peak form would give Ward by far his toughest fight but the dude is such a disapointment and 50 cent is ****ing what's left of his career. how has this guy not at least gotten into an eliminator for a title shot? it's insane, he scraped by Froch and deserved the W in his very first step up in competition when he was green and never fought on the big stage and did it in his backyard! He comprehensively whupped Abraham with ease and even knocked him down.....he's the biggest waste of talent i have ever seen. If he doesn't start fighting good opposition and get back in the title picture before the end of year he's done.
