    He would beat both.
When you talk talent he is miles ahead of Rios and Alvarado, they can not win a round against Khan but can KO him since he has very bad chin, if Khan had punch resistance like these 2 he would beat them 12 0 every time, just as he doesnt have chin they dont have his skill or talent.
Khan beats Rios with running and killing him on the outside Rios doesnt have the footwork to cut the ring on him.

Thats exactly what I try to say, his chin and brain are the problem but, if somehow Virgil teaches him to box smart and doesnt excange when he doesnt need to he beat Rios type fighters real easy 12 0 or at worst 10 2 in rounds!!!

    To answer your question:
Marquez Vs Diaz II comes to mind

They are #1 contender and interim 140 champion respectively - those roles have just been swapped round in their last fight? And once again, you said yourself he's coming off a loss. If he got the Bradley fight you say Marquez deserves it, no way he should get it. If he gets Marquez V you don't want to see it as we had a definite result. Now he's left with Alvarado/Rios and you criticise that.

You sound like a kid throwing his toys out of the pram

I have no problem with him picking Guerrero. Bar Canelo, he's left with **** choices. My issue is with those that are trying to make this matchup out to be better than it is.

You're reaching now - my comparison has nothing to do wth quality - it's a talk purely about weight. Stop making a fool of yourself, take a deep breath and talk some sense

And everyone pretty much agreed it was a **** PPV. :deal

Is Pac fighting at 140 or 147? Alvarado and Rios are not contenders at 147 their contendership has zero relevance unless Pac goes to 140.

ye I agree but every fighter that can bang has a chance against khan I personaly think Virgil is going to have a hard time doin that because people liked to blame roach but khan always went in with a game plan an for some reason never stuck to it so he could try an prove he could take shots instead of been smart an i have a felling he will always revert back to his old self when in the ring.

Sorry, maybe I should have picked a better word. By talent, I just meant what those fighters bring to the table and their level of threat. So in that regard, they're all more or less on the same level. Khan may be more 'talented' in some areas, but his flaws negate some of those talents. Likewise with Ortiz. And Rios. And the rest. If they were put in a league of some sort together, they'd all be winning and losing against one another. Khan might lose to Alvarado who might lose to Guerrero who might lose to Khan. That's what I mean by them all belonging in the same talent pool.

You asked to name aPPV that fit your criteria. I gave you one.
Amir Khan has never fought at 147 and he's WBC #1 contender. Hatton had never fought at 147 and Mayweather fought him. Marquez had never fought at 140 or 147 and Mayweather fought him at 147.

People have to go up in weight at some point. Alvarado weighs in at 158 and Rios at 161. they are draining to make 140. They are still at an advantage over Pacquiao at 147. They will likely be stronger at 147 due to the draining they need to do to make 140. Pacquiao is coming off a loss, he has no other opponents as main 2 are fighting each other. He's now in an "eliminator". It's PPV because it's Pacquiao, he sells.

    Get over it!

I love the hate. I know Pac losing his last 2 wasn't enough for some haterz, and they want to see him in losable fights every fight.

But Pac vs Rios is 2 warriors, 2 great personalities. And it will be good to hopefully see a vintage manny pac performance again.

Rios will keep coming forward and may also land enough to make the fight interesting.

This fight will be great and will be on PPV.

Now is your upset because you want to watch the fight, but are a broke ass ***** then just get saving, you got plenty of time. Or just don't watch it.

if anything, Rios and Alvarado will test Pacquiao's chin as they have punching power and that's what's in doubt, how has Pac's chin been affected physically and psychologically.

If he went in against Bradley, who Pacquiao already knows has little power, it is on paper a potentially better fight to come back to because there are less psychological issues has he's not facing the unknown

The haters are going to hate, turbotime is one of the worse on here :rofl
