TBH you do sometimes talk some sense but it's often lost on people because they skip over you posting War and Peace all the time.

In terms of the Hearn VVarren thing, as a fan I'm more than happy for them to play one-upmanship, it certainly does me no harm.

 

My point is, it don't matter who the promoter is (deep down they are really all the same) All that matters is the fights for us boxing fans. Thats just it. Plain and simple. The only people who should be concerned about promoters, is the promoters. Eddie is of the new generation, a different view and way of thinking/working. He gets a fair shake and a following because he'll be on social media and what not. But most of those same people are dead against Frank because they are for Eddie. Simply out of being for and against, I'm sure some have valid reasons, but most don't.

It's basically Liverpool vs Manchester United for some people.

Frank has done a lot more for this sport than Eddie has, Eddie has only just started out, and he should be given a chance. But my observation has been, its everything I hate about the way sport is going in general. Its all about image management and saying the right things. I find it boring, tacky, new age and corporate. That is just my opinion of course. You are allowed and entitled to yours. :good

The way I see it is that Eddie gets this support because he represents the new generation, social media and all that tosh, he is inline with the times, younger fans love that stuff. Frank gets hate because he is of the old and not so luvvy duvvy with the fans. But he is still a fantastic promoter, and has been for a number of years. He makes the fights the public want to see, some have slipped through and been missed down the years, of course, but he is still doing the best he can, just as Eddie is trying to do. A few fighters switched allegiance, and by the looks of it, a few :tired boxing fans did to. Thats between the fighters and the promoters, NOTHING to do with us.

Thats all I am saying.

Neither have you though to be fair. All you do is either repeat what others have said earlier in a thread or pick the most obvious result. I've never seen you give a detailed break down of how a fight would go and stick your neck out.

Headcase Nah, just calling you out for the hypocrite you are. You call yourself an 'analyst' but never bother to put some detail in your posts on fights and then have the audacity to criticize others for that very thing.

If you post detailed breakdowns so often, sutely it's not hard to find one? Or is it because you know that you never do?

DrMo and Beeston have both said that in the past. And given that they actually have a good insight into the sport, it kind of proves my point about people thinkng you're a fraud.

You are the one making the accusation mate. You need to find the copy cat threads and quotes from DrMo and Beeston.

 

What accusation? That he never posts in detail on fights- well how can I prove that when I don't think these breakdowns exist

There's absolutely loads of examples of that. Just look through all of his post history and you will see it. I'm not doing it for you
