normally i would say this goes to the score cards in a closely contested battle, but seeing Marquez is juicing since teaming up with Memo, stoppage early or late.
That's surely Ol' Bezelbob's plan. - but Marquez should be able to pull off another counter-punch KO, (easier than against Pac) spoiling Arum's big payday. One can hope.
JMM will be the favorite on this one. If JMM pulls this off, He will be cemented as one of the best 147ers in this generation. If Bradley wins, he might get a good fight against floyd or a big payday against pac.
The best 147 pounder of this generation is Floyd Mayweather, even while avoiding dangerous competition in Margarito and Williams at that weight. I'm one of Marquez' biggest fans and you know that, but he surely does'nt cement a spot as a top tier 147 pounder by beating a lightweight in Pacquiao and Juniorwelterweight in Bradley. Its going to be Bradley and maybe a fight or two more for Marquez and he's on his way secured as an ATG, but not as a top tier 147 pounder.
pacquiao established himself as a good welterweight through the Cotto and Clottey fights. Bradley got a gift when he fought manny, but he made it competitive enough to prove he can hang with the clearly #2 welter at the time. Being small for the weight class doesn't discount them from being in it.
Good fight. I think Bradley will win it by UD, but it will be a competitive fight. Bradley will fight a smart fight, but he will get wild in spurts and Marquez will make him pay.
Good to see Bradley in 2 great fights this year and Marquez challenging himself against a young, talented fighter.
Sadly, I can see Bradley winning this close on the cards. Bradley has a good chin and tends not to run face first into punches, so I think getting the stoppage will be a hard task for Juan. I think if Bradley fights clever and uses his superior mobility, I think he could do it. Hate to have to pick a winner in this, two of my favorite fighters, but I'll be looking forward to it all the same.
