Haye should wait until he has a few more fights in AMerica, build up a bit of a profile then knock him out.
It's going to be a grand thing to see Fury try to bully David with an onslought of elbows, forearms and head-butts, even though he might last only only 90 seconds. Hell, if Fury lasts through the first round, he might even follow David to his corner after the bell and shove him in the back.
Because of his lack of fights at the weight, didnt think Cunningham would perform as well as he did.But he did as well as the smaller heavyweights of old, almost,I think,as Haye has done.Looked a good fighter in there, and Fury got over the hurdle. If his handlers have any sense,Tyson won't fight Haye yet,let him get a year or 2 older and get a few more fights himself'.No rush for him.But if,as he says,he takes Pulev, and beats him, would bet on him against David,as I reckon Pulev the hardest man in the division at the moment.
A very good for British Boxing. The publicity this fight would get would be amazing. The money it would generate would make more money than either fighter would make if they fought someone else for a world title and yes that includes a Klitschko. It would be financial suicide for either fighter to turn it down, but with that said its going to be interesting how Hennessy worms his charge out of this one.
Totally agree, but then i never really beleived Haye v Audley was actually going to happen-then it did.... I like Haye but we all know he is in it for the money and another massive domestic fight for an easy few rounds...sound familiar? Woulndnt have thought Fury would take it though, not yet, let it build. Actually i think Tyson would take it, he doesnt care who he fights lol but dont think Peter will let him
If you would have told me this last week, I would have said it never would happen. When I interviewed Tyson and Peter a few months ago, it wasnt on the radar and the only thing they were interested in was getting to mandatory for a Klit fight. Beating Pulev would put him there. However, I interviewed Peter last night - http://www.boxingforum24.com/showthread.php?t=472940 He says if the money is right, then the fight could be made. Thats the first time I have heard team Furious talk about Haye being a potential fight ever. Seems like that this might be actually a consideration for both parties. However, in my opinion, I think its a stupid fight for both. Either or both could be having world title fights by the end of the year. And should one win, then this fight is the one that will smash TV viewing records in the UK.
I'm not usually a big fan of letting fights fester for a while, waiting for fights to become 'bigger' before making them never really works as far as I can see. But this is one occasion where both are so close to world titles again that the risk V reward says give it a year. If one of them takes a world title then the fight becomes big, massive even in the UK. If they both get their hands on a title it becomes the biggest British fight ever and Tyson becomes rich beyond his wildest dreams.
