Is it the Ibf he's fighting for?

 

Benn announced as primetime, not stating that it's free so sure there will be a charge

 

He's not sold it to slime time has he? Fair enough I can't blame him if there is no one else posturing for it ... Suppose he's got to cover his overheads .Gpod luck to them,but I won't be giving slime time my money.

 

It really is a shame when A british fighter fighting for a world title isnt on a recognised platform, SKY really should show these, Mcdonnell has worked hard to get there and is a very good improved fighter...

I just dont get it...want to increase fan base but not show a British fighter in a world title fights...poor, very poor.

 

It's a joke that not all British title fights are televised, never mind world titles!

It's pretty clear that Boxnation's emphasis is not on domestic cards anymore. They likely put a low bid in.

 

Yeah, It's really annoying. The International cards are superb but were missing out on a lot of good British fights.

Bear in mind people are complaining about froch-kessler,bellew-chilemba,groves-gonzalez bill being ppv worthy

And last primetime shows were hattons excellent bill,pacquiao and sergio martinez fights

Not on the same level,and im dissapointed for jamie mcdonnell possibly one of the least known world title challengers britain has produced.This wont help

 

The obviously lose to much money on cards that they film themselves, so they only put on or purchase domestic cards that will generate subscribers. I think even in the case of the Khan card Showtime might be filming it. I can't see them wanting to tie into BoxNations low quality broadcast.

The issue with showing international cards, that you buy last minute is that if Sky up there boxing budget, or ESPN/BT or any other channel want to get involved, they can gazump BoxNation with ease and the channel will have no content.

 

People have complained about every PPV ever on this forum. Even Mayweather v Hatton & Klitscko v Haye got complaints.

The man to blame for the lack of coverage is Dennis Hobson, putting the fight up against the Burns fight was always a bad idea. There's a tight window with the outdoor fight, but surely the 18th would have been a better option, could have had it on Sky, tied in with the Alexander-Brook/Purdy fight.
