No, they don't - not even in relation to most current "top heavies", which is pathetic. Both get by on power, that's it. (in Arreola's case a combination of his clubbing power delivered with relentless persistence to accumulate, combined with his toughness allowing him to beat guys by attrition...in Stiverne's case it's more about single big shots hurting outmatched opposition)

Actually, you don't know **** - because that is exactly what he is. This "Cristobal Arreola, master boxer (if he wanted to be, put his mind to it, and shed jugs of fat)" myth has been floating around for years and needs to die already. Stop perpetuating it. I've seen virtually his entire pro career, and he's never exhibited these supposed boxing skills that put him in a class apart from other Hulk-smash types.

I've seen plenty of him. He is slow and shitty. He pummels out weak opponents, but will lose to anyone even decent - let alone elite. Most will knock him out.

I pretty much agree with all of this, including your predictions of the possible outcomes - but if one were to bet, it would make sense to ride with the much better chin with all other things being about equal (and they are: skill, power, lack of D...plus a speed edge to Arreola)

...and make no mistake about it being the better chin.

If Walker landed on Stiverne what he landed on Arreola, Stiverne would be out cold. Ditto Molina.

Wow! If ignorance was gold you guys would be billionaires! Stiverne jumps on a poorly-conditioned Aurreola early and beats him to a pulp the way Earnie Shavers destroyed Ken Norton!

It's gonna be a heavyweight slugfest.

I think Arreola knocks him out, but if Stiverne catches him early on it could be disastrous for Arreola.. Stiverne may not have the greatest punch resistence, but he sure does have a punch, and in the heavyweight division anything can happen.

Cristobal Arreola is just a heavyweight slugger, he's not a boxer, he does not move his head, he's just a big bully, basically.

If Stiverne can launch that left hook from his guard as Arreola throws his right, it could be night night for Arreola.

True, but Chris is faster of hand and the faster starter from the gate, so it's more likely he'll land a corker before Stiverne gets the chance to.

Yep, if Stiverne lets Arreola go in and maul like he typically does, its gonna be over before the 4th round, bet on it. Stiverne needs to go out there early and establish something, and that something is only his power, he is behind in every other department to Arreola, except perhaps defense in some regard.

Even if he catches Arreola early, I think there's a good chance Arreola would get up from a knockdown/knee type situation like he did against Walker, and stop Stiverne, eventually.

Should be an interesting fight, I like these type of slug fests, but none of these guys are going to be champion of the world, lets get real :deal

Stiverne's another bum-basher. His opposition isn't as pathetic as Wilder's, but it's not so great either. And one of the many low level journeymen and tomato cans he's based his "impressive" KO record on actually knocked HIM out.

Doesn't bode well when he is finally stepping up to face a top level HW like Arreola. Stiverne will be, predictably, annihilated.
