Sounds like a made up name. Perhapps it's a cautionary tale to keep young boxers on the stright and narrow.

    I google'd him.

There is one mention of him with the above record. Then nothing.

This very thread was the 9th or so option listed.

Do you know what time period he fought as an amateur in? And his weight?

    Chuck Arnold?

He probably was Chuck Norris and Arnold Schwartzenegger's love child. Indestructable! :ibutt

Ah yes. Trained by the spirity of movement, Whitaker; the God of Chins, Lamotta, and the God of War; Formeman. I remember; as a child his tales against opponents, beating all the odds under the guidance of Sugar Ray Robinson and Harry Gerb.

I don't know if the record is correct, but yes, Chuck Arnold exists and stopped fighting after a bad car crash. I googled his name (and found this thread) because I work with him and at a Jeep plant in Detroit and wanted to know more. He was telling me about the car crash, and his days as a fighter. If I have all the details correct, he wasn't drinking, but some of the other guys in the car were. They were celebrating getting signed to some kind of a contract, and he was being trained at Kronk by Emanuel Steward. I asked him if it was possible that the car accident was a good thing, since boxers are having so much trouble with CTE. He said one of his buddies that he trained with was Gerald McClellan, and that he went blind and nearly died after a fight with Nigel Benn. He showed me a picture of him and three other fighters (one was Gerald) and something bad happened in the ring to each of the other guys. The other guys had very impressive resumes, but I don't remember their names.

Sorry I don't have the details down very well. I was planning to check the internet to find out more, not be the one giving the information.

While 94 ko's in 98 fights and being undefeated is extremely impressive, none of that would have happened in the pro's. They would have put an end to all of that.
