That's your opinion. I somehow doubt Broner is of that same opinion.

You can't fight guys who aren't available.

Are you under the impression that hes going to retire after the Mallignaggi fight?

Broner would get more credit for beating Paulie than he would Victor Cayo. And Broner doesn't have to fight at 140 this fight to show that he's willing to fight at that weight. His promoter has made a concious effort to put the word out there that Broner is looking to fight at 140. No one in their right mind would advise Broner to pass up Paulie in order to take less money against a guy like Cayo. I'm looking at Cayo's record now, the man has been stopped 4 times. Old ass Nate Campbell stopped him, and he was stopped in his last fight against some guy named Emmanuel Taylor. I'm really struggling to understand why you think that is a sensible fight.

Broner had a June fight date. Who should he have fought?

Well I don't mean current Cayo, I mean somebody on his level at his prime. This fight with Paulie just doesn't make sense to me. It's looked at like a cherry pick by his (many) haters, and I'm not even sure he'll beat Paulie

cayo just lost again. he does not deserve a fight wit broner. paulie vs broner is a good fight . everyone is concerned that hes skipping 140 to avoid the big dogs in that division. well they were all tied up in fights so nothing could be made anyway. he didnt wana sit around and hes fight a game opponent. an as far as the whole weight issue that means nothing he can fight at 140 or 147 after this. guarantee nothing wrong with staying at 147 considering all those 140's are gonna be moving up soon anyway.

Broner would whup anyones ass at 140. Matthysse included, too many tools, too much firepower. Watch and hate, gonna be a rough decade for you haters as Broner becomes the face of boxing.

Who the hell cares if his critics say it's a cherry picked fight? They're called critics for a reason. None of the top guys were available at 140 for June. So he could have taken on a mid level guy at 140 or take on someone like Malignaggi. It seems pretty obvious which direction he should've gone in. Paulie is a belt holder, and he has some name recognition. People are going to watch this fight. There certaintly would be less intrigue for Broner vs. Random fringe JWW contender.

i thought the whole point of havin the peterson an lucas fight at 141 lbs was so matthysse coud keep the interim belt to set up a fight with garcia alot easier?? of course if zab or peterson win i dont know what happens i see no reason why zab wouldnt fight matthysse again or fight peterson or vice versa?

It would be ironic if GB after feeding Khan two chumps decide to feed Khan to Broner :D

Broner admitting he aint good enough to stay at 147?
Why not aim at Bradley, Alexander, Mayweather.

Thats assuming he wins though, because he probably wont. Since my boy Paulie a certified G!
