  1. Yeah agree with dyllian whyte far better prospect than the other unbeatens he has great power and athleticism, also didn't he beat Anthony Joshua and they both were relative novices in the amateurs

What the **** happened to Price wanting to win the Lonsdale outright?....Surely winning it was the excuse for the seemingly never ending run of mediocre fights

I think the plan is beat Thompson and then fight/beat Chisora and he'll have won it outright.

That was the original plan anyway before he got KO'd.

If Price gets by Thompson I suspect he'll not fight Chisora and fight someone like a Kevin Johnson. Price needs rounds at this stage and I don't think Johnson would provide a decent (if slightly dull) test.

Johnson fight would be a snooze fest, I think Maloney knows the fights have to be decent.

Too be honest I'm surprised they're having this fight in the ECHO because I don't know anyone who is going and I just can't see how it is selling tickets.

  6. Decent undercard again to be fair to little frank

I hope pricey pulls it off as I think he is a top bloke and I'm sick of them bloody yanks

I like Satch and find his fights interesting but a lot of casual fans aren't interested in the 8 stone division and don't enjoy the fights.

Again the Anwar vs Hamilton fight is a good fight for us fans but two fighters from outside the city are not going to get the casual fans excited.

I actually think they're both good fights and I'm looking forward to the Neil Perkins fight on the undercard as well.

  9. Maloneys cards that have been shown by boxnation have been far better quality than his sky output

Once again he has 2 British title fights supporting

I think if price and satchell can keep on moving up the ladder and Frank added another young local fighter then he could have some great shows in the future

Agreed mate, if Satch can beat Butcher in July who is a decent prospect it might be worth getting him the European champion over.

Not really, Haye, Chisora, Fury and Price are all good heavyweights, possibly top 25 heavyweights. The likes of Audley Harrison, Michael Sprott and Skelton who have done alright at European level are solid fighters for our younger fights to develop against. The likes of Dillian Whyte, Hughie Fury and Anthony Joshua are solid prospects at the weight.

  12. No we have good heavys the biggest problem is Harrison, sprott,Skelton,McDermott have been around a long time whereas haye, fury, price and chisora fight at international level so we need a new batch of young ones to grab the initiative

We have the likes of towers, cornish, whyte, lewison,Hughes, little, darch, dallas etc as well as a certain Anthony joshua

I think we have a mixed bag but overall a strong group

Lewison could potentially be a decent prospect at heavyweight if he shifts a bit of weight, decent fighter who was unlucky in prizefighter. I think he could get an English title possibly or even British if he improves.

  14. Going back to the price bill

Agreed, satchell will really have no other deistic issues other than skipping around weights so European would be good and possible with a big Liverpool crowd generating the money needed

Possibly the most improved boxer in Britain alongside Lee selby

Satchell vs Butler would be a great fight in the future if they both continue to impress.

If they both win European titles and then Satch moves up in weight to fight Butler for the European at Super Fly that would be great.
