    If there is no boxing tradition in these countries it doesn't matter how big a population is....this is pure nonsense. How many kabbadi champions has the UK, US or Mexico produced?

    That's poor anaysis. Firstly if China and India invested money in boxing they'd have world champions for sure.
    Nothing to do with genetics, your arguements are absolutely irrelevant. Any fighter from ANYWHERE can do well.
    It could just be that there aren't MANY asian boxers in the UK, considering Siddique got to british level shows he's decent enough.
    You forget a couple of other fighters, Nasim Hamed one of our best world champions and also your lack of knowledge shines through when you forget this man http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=9303&cat=boxer Jawaid Khaliq.
    So considering the FEW fighters that have turned pro, how many of them are journeymen? Hardly any, and the man that beat Siddique is now a solid British champion looking to try and move to world-ish level.

    I'm astonished that the UK has not produced a sumo wrestling champion. We have enough fat *******s who can do it with our obesity epidemic. (Might as well throw that argument in there)

    Firstly the Gethin fight if I remember was an eliminator for the British title, secondly Hamed is not classed as an arab that's absolute nonsense. Thirdly Youssef Al Hamidi is Syrian - that is not South Asian.

    I don't think the two journeymen Alfradi and Razak come to win, they earn money from being journeymen, it's an important job in boxing.

    The population of south asia is not interested in boxing/rugby etc
    South Asia has a wrestling history and maybe explains why MMA is only starting to gain some popularity in India

    You are a ******. Harroon Khan has achieved more in life than you can even dream of. **** the **** up. He didnt impress anyone with his pro debut but for **** sake give the **** a chance.
