Of course he will fall short, that's what he specializes at. Falling short and making hilarious excuses. By the way, it won't be embarrassing one bit. As long as he keeps getting free title shots there's no problem. As much as I dislike him, I have to admit that even after years of being past it, he still brings entertainment leading up to his fights.

 

No problem for him but big problem for boxing. Everytime he gets a shot, there's a more deserving fighter out there who's getting screwed out of an opporturnity and the fans have to watch Zab talk the talk but not walk the walk, again.

 

He brings hype, attention and money. That's a dream fight for anyone rising and Garcia needs this type of fight. The Amir Khan win might have given him exposure but it was barely hyped/promoted considering Garcia was a replacement for Peterson. As long as there's someone like Judah, a past it big name still lurking, all up-comers will target him regardless. Old past it big names give rising stars some more exposure and nothing else.

Yes he always comes up short. His biggest win is against Corey Spinks when he unified the titles and people always bring it up that he was a unified champion, but that was a long time ago when he was at his best and truthfully Corey Spinks is and has always been B level at best.

Kostya Tszyu knocked him out. Baldomir beat him. Mayweather easily beat him. Cotto treated him like a rag doll. Clotey easily beat him. Khan demolished him. So all the best fighters on his resume defeated him. Even Corey Spinks won 1 out of 2.

 

He brings hype and attention and then lets people down. He gets undeserved fights because of his name, how is that a good thing for boxing?
