I think I might have a bet on Bute here of the price is right, but yes,I think you're right, there is a time limit on these things and Froch has made it clear he won't move up to 175.
The extra weight will do Bute good so he'd be silly to drain himself to go back down and fight a guy who's already punched 7 shades of **** outta him.
He needs to forget Froch and make the most of those extra lbs at LHW.

Bute never said he'll move for good at 175.

    Bute "lets" Froch fight Kessler?
It was Bute's team who chose not to pursue the March rematch. You think Froch is at the beck and call of Bute for the rest of his career?
Bute doesn't "let" Froch do ****.
And don't be saying I'm a hater BB because I don't even dislike the guy, far less hate him.

His last fight was at 170,his next at 175 and plenty of people claim he was drained for Froch, so can you tell me where he benefits from going back down to 168?
The extra weight will help him big time.He has poor punch resistance because his legs are too thin.
He might just make things work out at 175.Going back down to fight the guy who might well have ruined him forever would be a bad choice.

At Bute's age, I think he's heading the right direction. Too long has he lived off fighting subpar opposition and now it's time to step it up. He's made enough money as it is. The Froch fight was a wake up call. Now, I believe Bute can do better than what he has shown, but Pascal... Bute is a better boxer and Pascal fighting in spurts will help him. But Bute's defense can get exposed again. If it goes the distance, I'm expecting Bute to win, if it ends in a KO, Pascal gets the KO.

Pascal will crack that China,so there won't be any Froch rematch.

At least he would have actually earned it if it comes to fruition this year

Yet if he does go back to 168 you nuthuggers will claim he's weight drained when he gets KTFO'd again.

I doubt a rematch would end any differently from last time around. Froch was dominating.

All fights are about $, if that wasn't involved they would find another profession. :yep That said, it's still an excellent fight that I'm looking forward to.
