Sergio looked amazing for 11 rounds against Chavez

Can see exactly what you and others are saying mate. Murray is slow and Martinez is a beast but remember, he's coming off major surgery. I think he's coming back a bit too soon is Sergio against a wrong opponent. Knee surgeries are career-killers, how many footballers have knee injuries, come back after 8-12 months and are not the same? Most lose a yard or two of pace. David Villa for Barcelona, was amazing before he got injured now he can't get a game. Fernando Torres at Liverpool. Best striker in Europe, had a knee injury and has now become a complete joke of a player at Chelsea. Sergio's human, it could happen to him. Not saying he'll go **** overnight, just he won't be the same as before.

If Sergio moves around then yes Martin will have a nightmare landing on him but if his leg gives out on him, especially early in the fight, then he'll been in real trouble. Murray doesn't have great power but is very strong. He could wear Sergio down.

I just have a gut feeling is all. If it blows up in my face and Martinez kills him then fair enough, I'll shut the **** up about his knee. I just think this is perfect chance for Martin though and he won't let it pass him by cause he probably won't get another title shot after this (especially if he's stopped).

Martinez is going to systematically take him apart and then stop him.

Not saying he's gonna win,but more optimistic about him than I was when the other 2 fought Martinez.Looks a bigger and sturdier middleweight than them to me,hope he's not had to boil down too much.If that side of its OK,can see him giving a decent account of himself again.Staying up for it anyway.

A lot of people are massively overrating Murray's chances.

:deal He's like a poorer version of Chavez, and he got schooled for 11 rounds. He offers nothing to trouble Martinez. He's getting stopped.

Lighter puncher, not as physically strong, not as proven, experienced, chin isnt as good either from what ive seen. He has a bit of a better skillset, a bit more solid technically, but id rate another guy Macklin above him in that category to. And tbh, he's not going to try and outbox Sergio, so I reckon it wont make that much difference.

Ill give Murray the benefit of the doubt and say that he'll make it into the championship rounds, but he's getting a systematic besting imo.
