I've worked for and around Sky and the broadcast industry for around 3 yrs now......... He is indeed a bellend. In the broadcast diner vehicles him and Gray used to give it the big'un to lads who sat down at the same table as them, telling them to **** off upsatirs and saying riggers/camermen couldnt sit with them

    Bellend mate

Richard Keys major breach of contract.

He'll bury that **** Khan aswell if he loses. Or if he doesn't meet "Richards set criteria for an acceptable fight."

His job is to say good things about the fighters, not bury them.

What a presenter he is. Sums up perfectly the casual fan and everything wrong about boxing.

How he can rip Audley like that, after taking a shot like that, is unbelievable beyond the pale. But lets be fair, the only shots he takes are Andy Gray's :jjj :hey

    Sorry guys.

People reacted the same way when Paul Dempsey interviewed Ricky Hatton in November. Dempsey was awesome that night and asked the tough questions.

I want my presenters to speak their mind.

More than likely pal, all the studio stuff is temporary and rigged/de-rigged prior/straight after games etc so there wasnt no need to leave them on and recording. Even Keys/Gray complained about the fact, citing it was a witch-hunt against the pair of them. Highly likely

Keys was right to be forthright in his stance. Harrison said in the post fight interview that he was taking a knee and wanted to continue. He left it to the last second to 'beat' the count and when the ref was going to let him continue, he stared at the canvas. He didnt want to continue and he again showed no heart. Its the harsh truth. Keys went too far say 'did he bring boxing into disrepute', but he was entitled to be forthright. Let's not sugar coat what happened and how Audley has disappeared in many big fights over the years. Hope he retires now.

  13. he spoke the truth - obviously he put it across in his own way and it was harsh

on twitter people moaning too much

  14. Keys was questioning someones heart,i think he was implying aud a
    Dive

When Dempsey interviewed hatton he pushed the limit to get emotion but he wasn't disrespectful to rickys ability or question his dignity.and he said it to his face

    That was good journalism

Keys was just bear baiting and ****ing boxing bashing

Gray was sacked from sky because the news of the world which was also owned by Murdoch (before it was rebranded as the sun on Sunday) ran a story about gray having an alleged affair and he then sued them for damages. Murdoch apparently got the hump and they hatched the plan to get him out by stitching them up, apparently keys wasn't too popular with some people and he either also got the chop innocently as a sacrifice or they just wanted him out.

I don't disagree with what he said about audley though as I knew that would happen and it was pretty much just a farce. He asked the question "is he bringing boxing into disrepute?" and it was designed to stimulate a debate he is a sports broadcaster so that's kind of his job. He doesn't know an awful lot about boxing but he is absolutely right to question audley Harrison's motives for taking these fights and talking the talk beforehand only to turn up and timidly surrender once again after not even landing a single punch himself. I don't see why everyone thinks that makes him a ****, some of the audley defenders on here I think are just a bit sensitive to criticism but perhaps a lot of people didn't like keys anyway.
