Khan was given all the trouble he could handle by someone he was expected to have beaten fairly clearly. Good fight, but Khan must feel relieved. Garcia works him over in a rematch.

 

Good scrap but really unimpressive performance from Khan.

It's not about trainers it's him.

The guy is only regressing.He's done as a top fighter.

 

Fans celebrating like he beat Mayweather and not went life and death with an old Diaz.

 

About right decsion, Khan on a tight decsion.

 

This is painful at times. He keeps on his jab and he's in control, then he goes into flurry mode and gets tooled. Khan has so many physical gifts but no sense about how to use them. Getting hurt the way he did against Diaz, who's not exactly been a top-level contender the last couple of years, is a serious worry.

There's no space for Khan to develop further and now his frailties are coming against lower-tier opponents. Particularly worrying was Hunter telling Khan he was proud of him. That makes me think that Khan has low self-esteem and feels the sting of the glass chin comments.

I think Diaz took four rounds clearly, and two of them could conceivably be 10-8. I think Khan did enough to win and, largely, when hurt he showed some decent skills and instincts to sway away from the follow-up shots.

What next for him? The official scores were pretty fair, I thought. The refereeing was dreadful.

Thought Khan looked as bad as I have ever seen him. I don't believe he can be taught the things he needs. His upperbody and head do not move.

 

Khan isn't a defensive fighter it doesn't work for him.

Hunter should teach him defence not to be a defensive fighter.

His best form of defence is attack.
