Can't believe I have to even justify this ****. :patsch

Give him a break. Yeah, his resistance isn't all too great, his iq isn't great, his power isn't great, but he's exciting and continues to give us enthralling fights. Give the guy some ****ing credit for what he does and provides us.

Khan is a rich young man who has the capability to do well without boxing, so I can understand why some feel he should retire because he has more going for himself besides boxing.

Laz, he should drop all this talk of trying to be the best, aiming for Mayweather if he gets some good wins together. He should just accept his limitations and sell himself as a can't miss action fighter.

Guys always in good fights, who gives a **** if he can't beat the top guys as long as he doesn't keep claiming he's on that level.

I've always wanted him to fight Mayweather.

It would probably be the funniest sight in boxing history.

Shame it looks like it won't happen now.

listen guys, i'v critised khan more then anyone on here, but right now i'm worried about the guys health, the guy has taken too many punches, to me it looks like he's on the slide as a fighter, his timing or speed is gone. i just hope the team around him know whats best for him and tell him to quit before its too late.

Of course he shouldn't retire yet. He'll get other world title opportunity (which I don't see him winning), can move up to 147 & fight Brook or keep fighting around that level and getting the W, like Judah has been doing for example, and keep himself around the World level circuit.

Personally, I think we've seen the best of Amir Khan as a pro 2 or 3 years ago and that from now on it will only go downhill bu there'll be some good fights along the way

It is time to retire. He taking too much damage. He has won his world titles and made big money. Exciting fighter, flaws and all. I actually think winning the silver medal and turning pro early hampered his development. He never really got a apprentice as such.

I think the calls for retirement are based on his health more than anything

If he cant take shots too well his brain is gonna suffer far more.......seems like his brain cells are getting popped at a high rate

His speech is slowly heading towards the James toney level

He is exciting fighter, however you have to agree he should have had a point deducted for holding to be honest. As soon as he steps it up i think he will get a hiding, he cant rely on running, hugging and the ref ...
