Thanks Boran, Im sure Jones, being so big for the division can afford to make those adjustments. But generally, guys stances are determined from sprawling and defending the TD, and it's best to keep your hips as square to the shooter as possible

Thats why, in general, most MMA guys seem to throw off balanced haymakers...

    ****ing great fight.

Healy should have been in the UFC years ago. I thought Miller was going to take it, but Healy has been flying under the radar for a very long time.

Yeah, I realise the takedown changes a lot. But what I meant about hip rotation was with the stike. Usually MT guys are very square on each other, much more so than boxers, but the weight distribution is very different..

I was surprised by how well Pat did on the feet, though Jim had the speed advantage the and on the mat it was even. How bout you Rob?

I got you boran, was just trying to exchange a bit of knowledge. Dont see no reason as to why Jones couldnt dip the front knee and turn his hips into the jab a bit more though....

I thought Miller would have a slight advantage wherever it went. Pat's pressure is just tough for anyone to deal with.

Thought it was about even on the mat, Pats arguably lost most of the early ground exchanges but his stamina payed off. And that is a big statement...
