But generally, guys stances are determined from sprawling and defending the TD, and it's best to keep your hips as square to the shooter as possible Thats why, in general, most MMA guys seem to throw off balanced haymakers...

Yeah, I realise the takedown changes a lot. But what I meant about hip rotation was with the stike. Usually MT guys are very square on each other, much more so than boxers, but the weight distribution is very different..
