It could have gone either way but the preposterous judges' cards show the fix was in anyway. They all scored 3 of the 4 last rounds for Martinez.
You can't really call a close fight like that a robbery but I had it a close win for Murray, it was made worse by the second KD not being called. He will come away from that fight with more credit than Martinez that's for sure, who came across quite badly with his actions.
Murray definitely looked better than Martinez but it was a could go either way fight. I had Murray edging it but could see Martinez winning too.
Murray is a fighter who fights according to the occasion, tonight as with Sturm he brought his A game. I saw him live on the Hatton under-card and he was awful. Sergio needs to retire now, he's slipped.
The hatton card was just Murray trying things out and getting a few rds under his belt having been out the ring for some time
That's all well and good, but physically he looked poor and he took far too many punches. He's similar to Chisora IMO. Performers according to the caliber of his opposition. Now I'd like to see a Domestic tournament Murray vs Barker Macklin vs Lee Winners face off.
