That's a nasty injury, hope he's okay.

I'm only slightly better than a casual MMA fan, so do any of you guys have a suggestion for a way in which to fix the glove 'problem'? Obviously you need to prevent this type of thing, but still allow fingers the freedom to perform holds etc.

 

Rogan is terrible tonight as well. Misnaming Belcher and Bisping multiple times through the fight. Being too self-aware.

Very true. Still, this has been an absolutely terrible fight night. Lot's of terrible events, injuries, technical decisions (Almost never see those). Bisping screaming at the crowd as they boo that they know they enjoyed the fight. LOL.

It can't be fix. You need fingers for grappling. Not sure wth Rogan is talking about a way to fix it.

 

Alan Belcher has a cut in half eyeball.

As for the gloves suggestion. Why not put the leather(or whatever the gloves are now made out of) and very thin padding onto the fingers? Nothing major just to prevent skin to skin(or eye flesh) touching via the hands. Since eye pokes aren't allowed even if it makes the fingers too clunky for pinpoint movement, overall movement wouldn't be too restricted.

I'm hoping for a BJ/Joe Daddy style finish. Except, a guillotine instead of an RNC.
