Ok this is just my opinion and I will give reasons for why I believe he might be over-Rated, If you disagree feel free to give your reasoning

    1. Amir Khan First Fight-Against Molina he was eating left hooks + Showed No Improvement, (8 weeks of camp, maybe not enough time we assumed)

Today Khan, looked exactly the same maybe even worse than before, Ate same Left Hooks, Defensive was still bad, and Offense Seemed Worse

    2. Alfred Angulos Last Fight He Looked Exactly the same as well-(Virgil is also training him)

    3. Mike Dallas Jr Who Knocked Out by Lucas In Round 1. Trained by Virgil Hunter. One could argue that Lucas is that good, But in 1 Round?

    Discuss :hat

2nd'd. He gets 10% of Khan's fat purses so he'll get the job.
He's an average and competent trainer. Nothing more.

Yeah hes got a gm in Ward but cant do much with anything else !

Khan would have been better suitd for Emmanuel Steward (RIP)or someone that could maximize the most of out of a tall fighter like Khan..

I agree! Khan obviously has not improved. Virgil Hunter caught lightning in a bottle with Andre Ward, but I don't see him having much success after Ward, if Khan's performance is it.

No one can truly improve Khan much, he will always revert to his nature when **** gets real.

I think a trainer's merit shouldn't be solely based off of who he's trained. A fighter's success is like 85% him and 15% his trainer and team.

He may just have an incredibly intelligent and gifted fighter in Ward. That can amplify our estimations of his ability as a trainer. He also trained Witherspoon against Seth Mitchell too.

We don't even know if the fight will ever take place. Garcia is set to fight either Matthysse or Peterson and both those guys are dangerous. I wouldn't look past them towards Khan just yet.

Khan has always been the common denominator in his defeats. It's him who is over-rated.
