Arreola is a fat pig and a disgrace to boxing

No, Arreola is no disgrace and even after the fight I still like him. But the weight issues were here again! Same old Chris. The guy has heart and toughness like few others. I too had Arreola by KO inside 5 but **** happens. Stiverne is no joke though. Boxing skill and power? Come on! We got a live one folks! Stiverne is good!

I wish everyone who posts here would go spend a little time in the gym and spar a few rounds and have an amateur fight or two, or even a toughman fight. It would give people a little more respect for the people they post about.

The first real time. He did take a knee after being caught with a huge left hook by Travis Walker. But after being hit his chin becomes kind of better. He took huge shots throughout the fight and kept going but he was too fat. He wasnt active enough etc

Stiverne made a shot austin look likeLarry Holmes, its time for Arreola to hang em up sinceho obviously doesn't take this sport seriously.

 

I picked Stiverne to win so was not too surprised by this result though didn't expect it to go the distance. Arreola has a better chin than I thought was expecting him to get caught coming in with a counter and get stopped.

But once again Arreola's bad habits have contributed to another loss. Fact is no fighter even a heavyweight should step in the ring in the shape he always shows up at. He probably spends his whole time in training camp just getting himself in shape to make 12 rounds instead of spending that time improving his skills/technique and developing a winning game plan and strategy like more dedicated and smarter fighters.

Arreola has always been just hype, he still has never beaten anyone of note, he's the American version of Danny Williams. He a domestic level heavyweight who somehow found himself at a world level and getting a title shot. Arreola has never been a serious contender.

 

When people say he's a disgrace they mean that he is doing this sport a disservice by not taking his training seriously. And i agree 100% with that. No one is questioning his heart. They are two completely different topics.
