Lucas has a real budding internet fan base. I can see the appeal, but I don't think May 18th is a cakewalk. Lamont likely roided up again.

He'll batter Peterson.

 

Also underrated defense and his mindset has matured after his "losses".

 

If Matthysse and Golovkin are the future kings at 140 & 160 respectively, that'd be fine by me.

 

It's a 50/50 fight.

Peterson is durable, brave, has some boxing skills and can move a little bit.

And Matthysse despite his impressive power isn't exactly a Chavez's reencarnation as far as educated pressure is concerned.

A knockout win for Matthysse would be very surprising.

 

I've got a strong feeling Golovkin is going to WOW the **** out of people on June 29th. They know he packs heavy hands and great power, and now we'll witness him harness it against a legit foe, with exceptional timing and placement. He's there to take Matthew out, and that's what's going to happen. Whatever's happened beforehand means nothing.

 

You're looking forward to it, Lester can probably even hardly contain his excitement. He was on about Golovkin before most from what I remember. I started firmly supporting him thanks to the disrespectful dismissal and tirade by Dibella back in September. It pushed me into the wagon so to speak, though I was largely impressed with him in his HBO debut. Come to find the guy has charisma and a very high likeability factor in addition to stylistic appeal.

The way Dallas flopped onto the canvas looked like someone had thrown a carcass off a speeding bus. Supposedly Danny had been talking up a shitstorm on his Twitter prior to that and then went silent

The Lujan fight made me a fan as well. It was around the time I was getting big into boxing and I just remember thinking, holy **** this dude is a beast

Ive said since then that GGG is the future, people are starting to come round to it now!
