In Marks defence, it is a good thing he stayed with Paggas body in that final round because there could have been trouble if it was a head injury that he retired for. He could have knocked him out in the first round no problem. The first fight is another story, Pasi(name?) the big guy was winning with one hand. Fight him again I say.
The Philly Shell defence de Mori employed against Pasi, where he relied solely on his right hand to defend his head, failed because he kept dropping his hands. Pasi was able to land counter-punches every time he saw Mark's hands drop. de Mori then overreacted to his hand dropping habit against Pasi by employing a peek-a-boo defence against Pagga. He looked completely at sea with it, and Pagga who really has nothing, was able to strike him to the head and trouble him for 2 full rounds. de Mori has picked up some sloppy habits along the way, but the poor standard of his opponents has enabled him get away with it. Now after 9 years he is in panic mode trying to correct things overnight.
I'm not sure what the story with Pasi's shoulder is but those sorts of fights, or the draw on his record for instance would be more productive in terms of improvement. There is not much time to correct things in 2-3 rounds at a time especially when he's getting hit regularly.
First time this imposter steps up it will be a Wyborn ending once again.........should stick to looking at himself in the gym mirrors & pretending to be someone of importance to the boxing world.
he had a fight today. again against an opponent who had to quit because of an shoulder injury... his opponent had his shoulder taped... so he had the injury before the fight. You could see nothing in this fight.
Lol will he retire already? There is atleast 10 heavyweights from nz and aus that would definately ko him the one question is how can a guy that's been pro for 7 or so years get worse every fight??
Mark de Mori fought 38 year old Iko Dzafic, who has had only 2 pro boxing fights experience >>> http://fightfan.com/2013/04/heavyweight-mark-de-mori-picks-up-3rd-win-in-april/ de Mori's last two opponents had 6 fights experience between them and a combined age of 80 :yikes
Mark's opponent for the WBU title in Croatia next month... http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=323804&cat=boxer He has two wins over Pasi, including one over 12 rounds, so this is likely to be a tough fight for Mark now we've established what level he's at (very low). Photoshop all the way atsch Well DeMori is not worse than any other australian heavyweight. I mean Browne fought Toney and it was his best win so far.
