martinez won, but he has lost his prime form, he physicly doesn't look like the martinez would beat up anybody several years ago.

I only saw the last 6 rounds and have to watch the first 6. But Sergio was struggling with a fighter he could not hurt. Murray looked like a beast in there. Has a pressure style, but has a good defense to go with it so he hardly gets hurt. 160 has a new threat to worry about. Sergio should of gone for the ko not those pitty pats. 1 or 2 fights and then needs to retire. He always figting bigger fighters he didn't look like a middleweight at all.

Murray I thought had it going into the 11th

I disagreed on a few Lederman rounds, had it even after 6

If the KD that should have been scored was scored, Murray did. Murray was too big, had good defense and patience. Murray gave away the fight in the 11th and 12th. He has nobody else to blame but himself.

Martinez just looked odd. The guy never left his hotel room during training. I don't buy the I'm in training mode BS. He was scared of something.

That fight setting was just horrible.

    Close fight.
I had Murray by 1 or 2 points.
And that's without counting a 10-8 rd Murray deserved and was denied by the ref.

Just watched the fight for the second time & WOW did Martinez look poor last night.
Sergio had zero pop on his punches looked a bit soft (For Sergio) & has aged over night.

He is very fragile now & cuts now in almost every fight (Clearly a punch).
The second KD was defo that a Knock down, Sergio lucky he didn't have it called but it prob wouldn't have mattered in the cards anyway right?

Martinez won, but looked old and slow doing it.

The Martinez that fought Murray would have got KTFO fighting Jr.

Everybody has a bad night from time to time.

But if that was an accurate representation of Serge's ability, his run at the top is about done.

Yeah he's a big middleweight no doubt.

Because that's where the richest networks and promoters are and that's where the biggest fights happen, but those fights don't necessarily involve american fighters.

Good point, looks like father time has finally caught up with Maravilla.

    1) 10-9 Martinez
    2) 10-9 Martinez
    3) 10-9 Martinez
    4) 10-9 Martinez
    5) 10-9 Martinez (close)
    6) 10-9 Murray
    7) 10-9 Murray (close)
    8 ) 10-8 Murray
    9) 10-9 Martinez (close)
    10) 10-9 Murray (should have been 10-8 )
    11) 10-9 Martinez
    12) 10-9 Martinez

    115-112 Martinez.

I thought Murray gave away too many early rounds, and Martinez clearly took the 11th and the 12th.
But I understand how people scored it for Murray and 2nd KD was a clear one. Far from a robbery, could have gone either way.
