I think its a matter of time before those guys start fighting him... after he beats Macklin, people are going to fight him as he becomes a draw. Martinez and Chavez Jr. already said they'd like to fight him.

GGG will become the undisputed MW champ in a couple years.

I love Martinez, but I actually agree with the thread starter. Had GGG been the opponent last night, Martinez would have been KO'd. I guess Chavez, Jr. was Sergio's last hurrah. Martinez's style is not suited for slowed reflexes.

Pirog needs to get in the mix, at this stage Jacobs career looks more promising that Pirog's. :patsch

His defensive flaws and abysmal workrate would be his downfall. And he doesn't use his height and reach properly.

Proksa destroyed Sylvester 5 months after Geale went the distance with him. N'dam arguably lost to Khurtzidze and was on ***** street against Lorenzo. Anybody who's followed both guys careers knows Proksa is the better fighter.

Seriously? Golovkin didn't fight anybody. He's a total joke. Kazakhstan is buying world titles.

I agree. 3G is the best middleweight right now.

:-( Just Wow. Understand that fighters at the top of the division don't want to be derailed by 3G. He is a heavy handed punching machine.

GGG could fight a guy like Lara but instead he brings up Rosado and Ishida, tired of excuses.

GGG head to head likely is #1 at middleweight, however being #1 requires actual achievements.

Peter Quillin has something I wouldn`t bet against. I'm not sure exactly how to describe it, other then to say he has the look of a natural fighter. He's big for the weight, has a lot of power and always finds a way to land his punches. A lot like Garcia I have a lot of respect for his intangibles.

That being said when all things are equal skills pay the bills and GGG has got world class skills. If sexy sergio is infact too banged up and too old to be at his best GGG's pedigry should get him the victory over any 160lber.

:patsch They were journeyman, you dense ****er! Neither were even top 15 in their division and had to come up in weight to fight Golovkin. Use your head just once.

Go ahead and believe that. Not saying your wrong.

But you (edit) DONT judge a fighter based on how YOU personally think they would do in H2H match ups.

How about he fights a top 10 MW once before people rank him in the top 2 or 3?
