Matthysse was guaranteed a fight with the winner of Garcia/Judah fight, but now has to fight Peterson to protect Garcia. Peterson got away with taking steroids, a crooked referee, crooked judges, what appeared to be a crooked boxing commission against Khan. I think they are planning to try and cheat Matthysse in the fight with Peterson. The referee will be there to protect Peterson, the judges have already filled out their cards, so Matthysse will have to knock Peterson out to get a draw.................this crap is obvious.........Matthysse was cheated out of a win against Judah in which he had Judah out, but the ref helped Judah out a lot. Matthysse beat Alexander, but was again cheated, more home town decisions. I love to watch Matthysse fight and hate to see him get cheated over and over again. I think he would knock Garcia out, so.....................they reason to protect Garcia is obvious.............

 

It's so hard to track down fighters' amateur records and opponents.

People still hating on Peterson? The guy is the best boxer between Khan, Garcia, and Matthysse. His fights are damn exciting too.

 

Amateurs dont mean ****, Peterson and Matthysse are the best at 140, it would be better to see them in the finals together because somehow i dont think the winner gets put in with Garcia, either way its a good fight

You dont think Mathysse has the power to give him a lot of trouble? I mean I know Peterson can box but essentially he's a come forward fighter at world class level and his defense isnt amazing, so he's not going to be really hard for the Argentinian to find, especially as Lucas cuts off the ring really well.

Plus far lighter punchers in Bradley and Khan had him down and hurt multiple times so a big hitter with either hand in Lucas is definitely going to rock him at some point. Close good fight but certainly not easy win for Peterson. Im going for Mathysse late stoppage as it is:yep
