No, Murray won but a robbery is 8-4 or more. I don't like what happened but it's not a robbery. They would have robbed Murray is he won by more.
The majority scored it for him, but no, that does not make it a robbery. That word is the most overused word on ESB. By recent ESB ****** standards where Trout was robbed though, then yes this is actually a robbery.
The judges scored it exactly the same as I did It was a fair result. Even Martin Murray agreed that Martinez won the fight legitimately. The only one I saw hinting of a robbery was Kellerman He kept bringing up the Chavez jr match .Then said " Chavez lost to Martinez . You came to Argentina & lost to Martinez. I hope your next fight is in your homeland & you get to win" He was trying to incite trouble but Murray was not having any He greed the judges decision was fair
You had that fight 115-112? How? Like they're is no way. Also Lampley said the same think about Murray fighting in his home country behind he threw to the highlights.
I was shocked at how wide they had it for Martinez, I was very very surprised Murray won clearly to me
Just as crystal clear those 5 rounds are for Sergio, Murray won 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, and 10 almost equally clear. And the 7th, which I gave to Sergio, was the closest of the fight. The next closest were rounds 11 and 12. So your argument about which rounds were clearly won actually supports the claim that Murray deserved the W.
I had Murray 114-113 and thought the knockdown in the 10th was legit, however I also think there was a few of swing rounds so I have no problem with Martinez getting the nod. I wish people would learn the difference between a close fight and a robbery.
Not robbed, it was a close fight. But a close fight Murray won...however the referee robbed him as the 2nd KO should have stood though off the top of my head I can't remember how much difference it would have made to the scoring
People cry about robberies way too soon. Had Murray won the fight people would be yelling Martinez got robbed. In the end Murray did say Martinez won, and I doubt a fighter would "rob" himself
