I watched the replay after the Garcia/Zab fight was done, & I really thought Diaz should have gotten the win. He snapped Kahn's head back multiple times during the fight & Diaz was never bothered by anything Khan threw.

Anyone else think Diaz got robbed? Fighting in England, he would have needed to KO him just to get a decision!

    :-(

Cards were spot on I thought, clear victory for Khan although Diaz was the guy doing all the damage, Khan outworked him though and kept busy nicking vital rounds.

I was expecting a UD for Khan with lopsided scorecards but I was pleasantly surprised when they were announced, good honest cards which makes a change when a hometown fighter gets a decision.

I'm from the UK and was rooting for Diaz btw.

I had Amir winning by the slightest margin available. (114-113)

Funny thing is, I had that score for Murray vs Martinez too, and last week for Alvarez vs Trout.
Lots of 114-113 going around these days

Didn't they show the punch stats afterwards & didn't Diaz have more punches that connected?

For sure, like you said, Diaz did all the damage. Still thought he should have won.

Punch totals don't really mean much when you're judging round by round though. I thought Khan nicked 7-8 rounds. Can give Diaz 5 if I am being very, very generous.

No, it was a clear khan win. Wasn't easy for him though, Diaz almost stopped him multiple times and had him visably hurt whereas khan didn't

Thats the score I give it, I think Khan controlled enough of the fight just to knick it.

You don't know the meaning of the word robbery

    I had Khan up 2-3...

KHan did a good job considering he got dropped in the 4th (although I don't think he was as hurt as he was in the 11th)

What you talking about? Those scorecards were very fair; proving Diaz wouldn't have needed a KO only to win.

I think I had it 8-4 to Khan. Need watching again. But the rounds that Diaz won were big, solid rounds in which he landed the best shots.

Diaz won round 4 and 11 big

but Khan easily won rounds 1-3 which made up for that...

Very very close fight, Khan probs won on workrate.

Diaz closed him down for 12 rounds so brought the fight to him, dropped him and had him trouble numerous times.

    Very close though.

Had him hurt bad twice & that doesn't count for something? Khan was running for his life after getting tagged in the forth!

[yt]g1OThqCgn4s[/yt] 2:55 Even Diaz admits he didnt do enough

Diaz won 4 rounds, depending on whether you had round 11 10-9 or 10-8, Khan won 115-112 or 114-112
