This fight needs to happen but unfortunately Golden Boy and Top Rank makes it impossible for the time being.

Danny Garcia throws many punches and stalks you and tries to counter with a powerful left hook. Can he do the same with JMM and just walk him down or JMM is too elite and too good in feinting that if Crispy Garcia makes one mistake, he will get countered in precise combination by JMM?

Will Danny Garcia's chin survive the precise combination of JMM? Will JMM get hit with that counter left by crispy Garcia and if it does land, can JMM recover?

I think Garcia gets schooled. Marquez is too good, still one of the best in the world

Márquez is the man there. García would look like a toddler lost in a mall.

I know Danny Garcia defeated a shot Erik Morales and styles make fights.

But what makes JMM style different that will make it difficult for Danny Garcia. I know Morales is more of banger and is open to counters which is why he got rocked and stopped by crispy Garcia left hook.

Is JMM a lot smarter and better chin that Morales?

JMM is smarter than Morales, chin though, no way. He's always had those shaky whiskers.

What do you guys think about this scenario?

Garcia is undefeated, has solid fundamentals with a very good inside game and a killer left hook and on the other hand, JMM has better footwork, good timing and speed and a high volume accurate counter punching style which collides perfectly with inside fighters.

As the first bell rings, Garcia will start slow and test JMM's speed. as for JMM, he will be the aggressor and takes control of the center of the ring. Garcia will try to land a wicked left hook while JMM charges in but JMM head movement and feinting creates a gap in Garcia's offense and knocks him down or stuns him with a counter of his own. Garcia stands up or gets rocked and valiantly clinches JMM. Garcia would be saved by the bell. by the middle rounds, JMM revs up the engine and shifts to the next gear, bombarding garcia with power shots to the head and body. JMM then traps garcia by the ropes and gives him a pounding. the ref steps in and JMM is declared the winner in round 9 by tko.

    your thoughts?

Garcia is a dangerous opponent since he's willing to throw no matter what and has great instincts when trading, and his power can definitely catch JMM, especially if he takes the lead. But ultimately, I think Marquez will eventually set up the harder two-punch combos that open up Garcia and land clear while JMM's head is at a safe low angle. JMM by competitive UD.

There is no question about this one. Danny Garcia wins this one easily. You cannot ignore the 15 year age advantage for Garcia.

Well JMM's weakness has always been the left hook and that's Danny's best punch. BUT, Marquez has some recuperative powers second to none and he won't usually do the same mistake twice. I still think tho Danny is a great puncher, he still hasn't truly fought against a real elite as in a Pacquiao, Marquez, Bradley, etc to know where he truly stands. He has speed, power, and stamina and always seems eager to counterpunch, but his skills are crude and makes alot of mistakes. I can see him trying to overpower Marquez, perhaps even dropping or hurting him, but nothing Marquez hasn't seen before. I think JMM can still methodically break him down, bust him up, and eventually stop him or brutally knock Danny out. Danny still missing some defense and ring generalship to make him a real great fighter. He seems to depend too much on his reflexes and power. It would be a great fight tho.

I wish we got to see Marquez vs. Morales. I agree that Morales has the better chin.

Back on topic, it really depends on if Marquez grows old overnight like Martinez. If we see the same Marquez from Manny/Marquez IV, Marquez easily takes it.

Danny is strong and has a solid chin, but the kid shows hardly and movement and he's slow as hell. He relies a lot on his power and timing. He would drop Marquez a few times in the beginning rounds, but I think Marquez ends up reading Danny and knocks his ass cold or just ends the night countering him all day long like he did to Manny in their third fight.
