Every fighter has heart. It takes heart to get in the ring and go to battle. I think Zab has heart but mentally he isnt always engaged. That has nothing to do with heart.

Also getting pounded and taking punishment has nothing to do with heart. Actually the heart and mind are totally seperate

, there has been this myth that Zab just gives up but in reality he was getting his ass kicked, to this day people don't realize how brave his Cotto performance was, not all boxers heart is equal most would have give up on Saturday, my main point was to a guy who said Zab had no heart which is not true he's went all heart several times even though he made mental mistakes.

Also...I was once told "You've never made a decision in your life with your heart. The heart is merely a muscle. Stop blaming the heart for your irrational decisions. Just consider the possibility that you might be stupid."

In reality this notion of fighters having heart is ridiculous, its the strength of mind that allows one to endure pain or adversity with courage.

Heavy hitters would always find Zab's chin and invoke the "Chicken Dance"

There's something inherently dangerous (and arrogant) in moving straight back with no guard up. Khan knows what I'm referring to.

But it doesnt need to be metaphorical when you can just say "he has mental toughness"...not "oooh he has heart".....:patsch
