It's natural for fighters to have confidence. I'm not even a fighter and I think I can take a Klitschko (not really).

I get it because it should be every boxers dream to fight at HW if they can. To try and become HW championship. There is a certain luster and prestige to it because of its history. I hope he has the opportunity to really go for it. Unfortunately, it would be incredibly tough for a non-puncher. If he could punch, I don't think it would be an insane prospect.

 

You have to dream. That's what makes these guys great in the first place. You don't just walk in and win Olympic Medals, Championships, Super Six Tournaments with a strong resolve and vision. If I was him I would've kept it to myself, though.

Well its not out of the question but very unlikely. Its not just a matter of size difference. If it was someone like Micheal Grant then Ward despize his disadvantages could still outbox him and avoid getting caught, but with Klitschko he has fast hands and there is no way he is not going to touch you. To beat Klitschko you need to have someone with speed, power and chin, someone who will take his punch and return. Ward has speed but his power would not be enough to surprise Klitschko and his chin not good enough to withstand Klitschkos punches.

I posted it right here on ESB a long time ago. I think SOB Ward should get into a ring against Vitali or Vlad right after their mandatories. Vitali or Vlad would put Ward into the morgue! SOB has zero chance, but set that fight up ASAP. Problem, Ward will not leave his home town with his personal referee and judges. He is afraid to fight out of his town. I guess they would try to drug Vlad or hit him with a baseball bat?! Ward must be on drugs. I can't see Ward beating a Fury, Pulev, Boytsov, an 18 year old Huey Fury. How soon can this fight be set up? Vitali or Vlad would knock Ward out whenever they decided to. In America the Klitschkos are so hated that people are totally delusional. Vitali or Vlad's jab would knock Ward out!!!!!!! Whatever, either Klitschko by knockout!!!!!!! Hurry up and get this fight. Vitali has to fight Stiverne, then he could fight Ward, put him into the hospital or morgue, after that knock Wilder out cold................I have never seen anything so delusional as the extreme hatred for the Klitschkos, since Jack Johnson...............I mean the Klitschkos are hated, really hated, and because they are the best fighters in the world, so, go for it SOB, fight Vitali or Vlad ASAP. I would pay a lot to see that fight.
