Fury would win and esp. Fury's cousin who has had only two fights, but is within another class than both. However, Wilder is calling out Fury because he knows that Fury has a mandatory elimination fight against Pulev. I think Pulev would knock them both out. Wilder had a chance to fight Thompson, but backed out. Thompson would have knocked Wilder out and Wilder knows it.
No. Wilder wanted that fight BADLY. GBP pulled out, at the last minute, saying that the money wasn't right. Wilder had nothing to do with it.
Wilder is not the greatest heavyweight boxer in boxing history, hate to tell you that but it's the truth. Should Vitali and Vlad stop fighting mandatories and fight all of Wilder's opponents? How much would you bet that Vitali or Vlad would knock Harrison out? How much would you bet on Wilder to knock Vitali or Vlad out? When will Wilder fight a truly top ten fighter? Wilder's handlers knew better than to allow him to fight Thompson. Hell, Vlad has knocked Thompson out two times. I would keep Wilder out of the ring with anyone who can fight, or a tough fighter like 6 foot 8 inch Wach who has a chin of rock. 12 rounds? I don't think Wilder could go 12. You claim that the Klitschkos can't fight, they are the worst heavyweights in boxing history?! I can look at them and can tell that is not true. Vlad toyed with Wilder in sparring for his fight with Wach and yet you think he is totally superior to Vitali and Vlad? Wilder needs to fight someone who can fight back. Hell, even Haye easily stopped Harrison.................all of Vitali and Vlad's opponents can't fight but all of Wilder's opponents are top level fighters? Show me proof of that. Vlad will be fighting former gold medalist Povetkin, who has been avoiding Vlad for years now. If Vlad was such a bad fighter, then why did Atlas tell him not to get into a ring with Vlad? Vitali and Vlad are in the book of records. I love to watch them fight. Hell, Vitali beat Chisora with one arm, winning every round. If he had had two arms he would have knocked him out. Tell Wilder to fight some good fighters, perhaps even Scott, Jennings, even Johnson would give some test, but winos from the alley? Perhaps Wilder should call out Ali? Would not surprise me at all. Compare Wilder's punches with Vitali and esp. Vlad's, no contest, check out his balance, footwork, defense, no contest. I guess they only think the only thing Klitschkos can do is to fight all of Wilder's opponents so they can get respect? I watched Vlad win the gold medal in Atlanta, GA back in 1996. Vlad was also world military champion, world International champion, and has fought and won IBO, WBO, IBF, WBA, Ring Mag, championships, but that does not compare with Wilder's? Vitali Klitschko, six time world kickboxing champion, both pro and amateur, world military champion, International amateur champion, if not for a foot injury from kickboxing he would have won the gold, but decided to turn pro. I saw Vitali knock Herbie Hide out in London years ago, yet Vitali was a 5 to 1 underdog............I thought Hide was dead! Vitali WBO champion, and also came back and won the WBC championship after approx. four years, yet he has no talent? Emanuel Steward knew better..............would have trained both, but Vitali stayed with Fritz because of his style, Vlad went with Steward. Of course, Steward knew nothing about boxing according to Wilder fans?
Yeah, look what happened to Seth Mitchell...............Vlad was going to fight Mitchell, but Banks, a cruiserweight who was knocked out by Adamek, outboxing him and knocked him out!!!
atsch why can't you see it man? they are clearly keeping their guy away from live competition.... Also Furys proved that he can box more so than Wilder has, we haven't seen Wilder go more than 3 rounds against complete stiffs! Fury boxed beautifully against KJ and honestly if he fights like that every fight he's going to go very far. Your bashing of Fury is ridiculous as he has proven himself much more than Wilder has, and even if he does look crude and uncoordinated at times(which he does) so does Wilder, even more so I would say.
Fury has a 75% KO ratio ... Hardly feather fisted atsch AND two of the guys Fury failed to KO (Chisora and Johnson) the heavyweight champion with the HIGHEST KO % of all time ALSO failed to KO :good But Wilder fans are suggesting off the back of beating Dustin Nicholls, Harold Sconiers & Audley Harrison (who lets note was put out ICE COLD by David Price for 4 minutes, but was up on his feet by a count of 7 vs Deontay) would manage to do what Fury AND Vitali couldn't do?!? Wow. Just wow. No. He'll be KO'd within 6 rounds when faces both. He looks sub amateur IMO. He may get better in time, but he is nearly 30 years old and I don't see it happening :yep
FWIW I've got Windmill on this one. Don't think much of his skills, but he's got the speed and power to cut through Furys sloppy defense. Fury might make it work by smothering DW and keeping close, but for my money his speed should keep him clear. Looks like most agree this isn't a fight that'll get made tho'. Neither, especially Fury- while coming closer to a big payday- are gonna risk their 0s. They're both young guys though, so perhaps a few years down the line, when they've both picked up a couple of losses (and maybe some skills too).
I think Wilder has a good chance of beating Fury, if he fights smart and just keeps throwing that long right hand from the outside. Fury has zero head movement and is a sucker for straight punches.
